You will receive a braid that weighs 4 oz.
I love to try different types of wool. This is "Ill De France". It has a micron count of 25 and has a nice springy texture with good crimp. Great for socks or warm scarves. It was derived from a cross of Leicester with Rambouillet Merino around 1822. This will spin and felt easily.
Hand dyed items will always be unique and the colors will blend together into other mixed tones. I try to get the colors on the screen to look like the actual fiber but as monitors will vary the colors might not be exactly as pictured. If you are unhappy with the wool for any reason I do offer returns as long as they are in the same condition as they were when I shipped them. I do not refund your return shipping.
As with any dyed product there could be some loose dye when you first wash your yarn. I have done my best to rinse the dye out completely so for me the water is clear. I suggest you hand wash your yarn in cool/cold water with a bit of soap the first time.
