Golden Eri Silk. This is undyed naturally Golden Yellow colored silk with a beautiful lemony tone. Wonderful for spinning by itself and blending with other fibers.

Eri silk is also known as endi or errandi in India. The silk is often referred to as the fabric of peace as it is processed without killing the silkworm. This process results in a silk called Ahimsa silk. Moths leave the cocoon and then the cocoons are harvested, so no moths or worms are harmed in the process. The cocoon has 2 qualities of fiber. This is the longest fiber known as Top and is considered the A+ quality, much like a good mulberry silk except in this lovely natural golden color!
